I give up trying to edit the above, I keep getting the 'cannot post links' msg (might be cache), what I was trying to edit was the bit where it has appended some auto generated link to where 'at' sign was, the sentence should say: ...remove the 'at' icon and the space after the domain name to follow the locator.

About the search int a topic.
here is what I see when I search (php error at the top) but the search does seem to return results. Is that your experience or you are missing and have no search results?

Hello,

Just a couple bugs I’ve noticed roaming around; nothing serious, just minor functionality issues.

Note: I've broken the below URLs on purpose as it doesn't allow me to post URLs, remove the and the space after the domain name to follow the locator.

Here’s the device / browser info in case the below are browser bugs: whatsmybrowser.@ org/b/KNQAJ

• On Tutoring section, on the tiles’ dashboard, the star ratings are not pulling through correctly, e.g. 0 stars are showing as 5 filled in stars, same with 2.5 Page: gmatclub.@ com/tutoring/?fl=menu

• In Forum, on the thread, the particular discussion's search doesn’t work at all, it gives PHP error by the looks of it e.g. gmatclub.@ com/forum/search.php?t=167728; to replicate open a Forum thread and try searching for something using the Thread search (not the main search) at the nav bar

• The scroll of the notification feed that opens when click on the globe at top right is really buggy, it’s struggling scrolling as it tries scrolling the main page too, pretty impossible to scroll through the notifications; if cannot replicate I can send a screencap.

• When creating a new group, the group profile image that is being uploaded does not actually show up on the front-end; it uploads but only upon publishing of the group the image shows up.

• There is a bug within the emoji selector on chat, sometimes when clicked on funnily it opens itself in a new window - have happened ±3 times, but have not identified what exactly triggers it.

Suggestion :
I know sponsors are quite important, but do you delete "brutally honest" reviews from GMAT club if the review goes against a specific course provider. I think these reviews are quite important for a fair competition amongst course providers and reduces chances of bias.

Hello, have tried replicating the original, this is what I see (no idea where the attachment is going to show, apologies if it's in a totally random place) it seems that when it doesn't find a matching thing, it shows this - I cannot remember what I was looking for when I first noticed it (it must have been something that wasn't a match in the thread) but here's the replica of the screen.

From UI pov it might be useful to add a link back to the Thread maybe if it's working on an exact match of sorts? I just remember being totally distracted by the PHP error and just closing the window..

Ah. No. We do not delete ANY reviews. If we did remove them, we would get lots of crap and lots of complaints from users who have submitted those negative reviews. Don't you think? Also, nothing is ever removed on the internet and while one may try, they never really succeed. So no, we do not remove or delete any negative, positive, or neutral reviews. We don't remove any reviews is the bottom line.

I think critical reviews are valuable in helping one choose a course (and since nothing is perfect in this work and only fake things have all positive reviews)so to make them easier to find, we have actually added a convenient filter feature in the reviews to be able to filter by the number of stars: https://gmatclub.com/reviews/e-gmat-6?stars=1 (here are 8 1-star reviews for e-GMAT that span across about 5 years)

Thank you again. Makes sense. The errors at the top are distracting and the search is not always supser friendly since Google, even if it does not find something will still give you something. Here it is very dry.... but that's how the forum was built from get go by its dry-humor creators :lol:
We will get busy removing the errors though search may need to wait for another day.

I really want to solve all the problems on daily basis, but in a lot of questions when click on the link I get a message "You are not authorized to read this forum.

Please suggest how can I read these questions.

Yes, Abhimahna got my point. We can see the total no. of attempted questions but if I want to see the some questions,after 2-3 months, already attempted or not. If search bar is available in error log, then we can confirm that the question is already attempted in past.

As i mentioned in my previous threads mentioning to include the "Search bar" in "My error log", so that aspirants can search the attempted question and reattempt the question (if one wants). Let me try to explain a case where student wants to find those attempted questions (incorrectly answered or took more time) and one want to reattempt the same questions.

For instance, there are more than 160 pages of attempted questions in my error log, and i want to find and reattempt those OG questions, which were answered incorrectly /and took more than 2 minutes. If i search by ticking red square box ('Show wrong answers') and search all incorrect answered questions one by one, upto 50 pages that can possibly time consuming exercise.

Another way, i downloaded the excel sheet of my error log to find those official questions which were incorrect and took more time to answer. (Now the problem comes in) Instead of initial words of questions or topic, the link to question is given in the excel file. If, at least, the initial wordings of questions would have been given in the downloadable excel file, one could check immediately by search bar and reattempt those questions. Alternatively, it would be great if search bar is given in the "My error log" of the forum, so one can check and open the link to reattempt the question.

Kindly look into matter and please do the needful, if feasible (as i don't know software technicalities). :please:

Not sure whether this is intentional or actually a bug.

PS: I entered the name with correct spelling in this page and autocorrect happened here as well so entered incorrect spelling which sounds like the app am refering to.

We are not competing with them. Their business model is very different from our business model. It's just that we don't allow our audience to share to share 3rd party chat links on our system. :-D
