I am wondering if I should retake my GMAT

I got a 710 (90th percentile) but my quant score is a 47 (61st Percentile)

My GPA is a 4.9/5.0 for both my bachelors and my masters in computer science and engineering from MIT.

I would be applying 2+2 to HBS/Stanford GSB

Hi Suddoo,

Yes, you should retake the GMAT and strive for a score of 720 or higher to improve your chances, and your overall profile will determine the rest. As you are applying to HBS and Stanford, you might want to read an article on what business schools, especially Harvard and Stanford, look into applicants for deferred mba programs. You will get some insights :) Business Schools, especially for deferred MBA programs, aspire to create future leaders, so the potential must be visible in their students already! If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to b-schools. Feel free to book a free session with us as per your convenience.

Maximize your chances for top MBA programs in January intake

Cheers!
