Hey! I’m from India too but I’m applying for the MSc program. I haven’t heard back from them yet but congrats on getting accepted! Are you planning on joining HEC this fall?

Hi Varun,
As per the website, minimum score is 570 and competitive is 630, I think you stand a great chance. Also, hailing from India you will bring diversity to the class which is very much valued in MBA schools as my research suggests. I hail from Pakistan and so I will also be evaluated differently compared to anyone who is born and bred and studied in Canada.
Hello everyone. This post may not relevant here but has anyone elso noticed that the class size in some of the Mba probrams is extremely small. Schools such as john molson, alberta, ubc and hec. The average cohort size is around 50-70 for the full time program.

Hi!
I completed my application last week and I just got accepted. That was quick response!
My profile:
GMAT 630 Background 7 years banking (4.5 years as a Product Manager) I think the essay and the kira assessment are keys to show your ambitions and clear goals. The CV has to show your progress and achivements. The GMAT is not the most important factor.
PS. Show interest in the HEC Montreal. I visited the business school on 2019.
I had 670 GMAT and 3 years of work ex as a software developer. I got an admit. For the Kira Questions you need to be prepared with your experiences in life, so that you can answer the questions without any hesitation. The questions are very generic in nature. Talking to alumni will help answer a question about HEC. My other questions were about my biggest achievement, difficult person I worked with and the most unexpected thing that happened in my life.
