Hi All,
I am having around 13 years of experience in IT field and working in Managerial role. My confusion is if doing MBA in Finance is going to help my career progress. I am interested in doing MBA in Finance. I have done BE and MTech...so will it not be useful to do MBA in Finance? Will it be helpful to do Full time or part time MBA. Thanks for you suggestion...

Dear Gobindacm,
Without knowing the details of your profile, this is a bit tough to comment on. But in general, at this stage of your career, a full time MBA may be marginally less attractive than a part time one. Read here for more on this.
That said however, the career transition you are trying to make (again without knowing exact details), would be VERY difficult to make without a full time MBA - assumption here is that you want to move from IT to Finance. If however the intent is to stay within your sector, the conclusion may differ.
