Hello,
In my first attempt, I had scored a mere 570 without any preparation. I later spent good 2-3 months to strengthen my core basics. I had subscribed to E- GMAT for verbal and Target Prep for Quant. In both of those forum my accuracy level was (a) >95% for low level questions (b) >85% for medium level questions and (c) > 70% for hard level questions. I would also like to mention that I haven’t touched
OG.
Coming to test day experience:
Quant- I was doing pretty good in first twenty questions and it was then when I checked my clock. I barely had a min per question left. I rushed and guessed on quite a few questions. I had stopped thinking rationally.
Verbal- Typically I am way slow. But as seen in ESR, questions were of medium to low level thereby didnot consume alot of time in answering them.
I am surprised that even with a decent accuracy level, difficult questions were not thrown. This is in contrary to the level of questions I was getting in Quant section.
Please help me in:
1. Understanding what can I do differently to boost my score
2. Why wasn’t I offered hard level questions in Verbal section
3. Can last ten questions hurt my score this bad in Quant?
I have attached my ESR.
Regards,
Shouvik
