Hey there - you're very welcome! Your chances are really low this year. Look, you only do this once - I get the opportunity cost thing, I do. But you need to do this right. That means applying when your chances are best. And that isn't this year for you.

Bhavik,

Once again, greatly appreciated. I did not realize that this would be such a large issue in my app as matriculating with 3 years seems to be on the low end of the normal range. I see what you mean though regarding front/back office and how this plays into it. Do you think it would be advisable to move to a front office role at a smaller firm? It would not be at a blue chip firm as I don't believe any such roles are available in my city.

That answer depends on where you want to be and what you think you can accomplish. But definitely worth exploring the option!
