Hi Lavee,

It is good to Choose MBA over PMP program . But MBA is bit costly depends upon which school and country you choose.

If you don't have any problems in finance then choose MBA for better ROI.

As Eshan said , It is entirely depend on your goal .

All the best.

A 2Y MBA will position you better if you are looking for career change, if you are just looking to improve in your current role or within your organization then a certification or even a PTMBA might make sense for you. All of this depends on your development needs and career goals

Hello LaveeGorakhpuriya,

The question you should be asking yourself is not is MBA worth it, but what will I be doing 10 years from now if I do an MBA?
Will I be in the same industry? Will I be able to successfully pay off my MBA student debt?
Will my MBA be enough to help me in my career progression?

Take help of people who have done MBA and ask them if it really helped them.
For a more detailed view, take help of people who are from different backgrounds with different WE and have done MBA from different places, ex: India, USA, Canada, Singapore.

You will get your answer.
Is MBA Worth It?

Hi,

I am UI developer having more then 5 years of experience in IT. I want to go for higher level of management in IT Company. In Brief I done B.SC in MM (Merit Holder) and MCA from IGNOU with honor. Now I am preparing for GMAT/IELTS to get Admission in a renowned b-school for Executive mba or full time 2 years of MBA.

Please let me know how is it worth to going for MBA or I can do any certification(PMP Certification) to go for management while I have more then 5 yrs of experience.?

PMP is a great designation if you work on projects, I.e., project manager, or project controller. You should understand cost, schedule and risk. If your intent is to be involved with strategy, negotiation, deals, finance or valuation, the MBA will be most valuable.
