Hi Nimi08
I could not find reviews on the exact program you are concerned with. But the following link may help: -

Hi guys,

So to give you some background, I have taken the GMAT twice after studying by myself - the first time I got 650 and in the second attempt I managed to score only 630.

I was super upset and disappointed with myself! I did worse than the first time even after putting in so much more effort in to my preparation. :(

I'm not able to understand where I'm going wrong, I feel like I know the concepts pretty well by now but even in mocks I find it hard to cross the 680 mark!

When I was looking for GMAT courses, I came across the Advanced GMAT Course by CrackVerbal. They claim that it's an advanced 1-month course for aspirants stuck at a score range of 600 and are looking to push their score beyond 750!

I thought it made sense to enroll for this Program instead of a traditional GMAT Online course where I have to start from scratch by myself.

So wanted to know the experience of the students who have enrolled for this program in the past or know of someone who did.

Thanks,

Hi Nimi08,

First of all, sorry to hear about how things went with your GMAT. An improvement is always possible if you focus on the right parameters. In my journey, I have helped many people improve their score. I will be really happy to help you as well in improving your score to a score beyond 700.

I know you are struggling to find what actually went wrong. As per my understanding, you are very strong with the concepts but you are lacking the application skills. You have to understand that GMAT is a test of application of concepts and it is important that you use the right methodologies to solve questions in order to score well on GMAT. This time before taking the test, I recommend you to focus on learning the methodology.

How to improve your methodology?

If you are wondering how to do that in an effective way, I can help you with that. We are going to start a crash course on 3rd of October. We designed this crash course in such a way that it helps students in learning the advanced application of concepts. This crash course includes 50 hours of live online sessions, 100 hours of recorded video lessons and all the features you would get in an online course. There will be some pre-requisites which you need to complete before every session. You can find more details of the course in this course brochure.

Below is the success story of one of our students who improved his score from 650 to 730 in just 24 days using GMATWhiz.

This crash course is something which will help you improve your score by helping you learn the methodology and by letting you apply the methodology. You can check the free trial of GMATWhiz to understand the course structure in a better way. Or you can get in touch with me over a call and discuss the plan. We can also discuss a few more things regarding your target score, the plan you have been following till now. These things will help us plan your preparation in a better way. You can schedule a free consultation call using the below link.

Hi Nimi08,

I'm sorry to hear that your 2nd attempt did not go as well as hoped. GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Your 2 Official Scores show that you essentially performed the same each time (640 +/- a few points). You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also leave yourself open to making certain types of mistakes. Depending on how long you've studied, it's possible that you've developed some 'bad habits' that are keeping you from scoring higher. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level - but we'll have to work to define those bad habits (and replace them with new 'good habits') before you will be able to score at a much higher level.

Studies:
1) On what dates did you take your 2 Official GMATs and what were the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for each?
2) How long did you study before each attempt?
3) What study materials have you used over the course of ALL of your studies?
4) On what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?

Goals:
5) What is your overall goal score?
6) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?

If you took your 2nd GMAT at a Test Center, then you might also choose to purchase the Enhanced Score Report. While the ESR doesn’t provide a lot of information, there are usually a few data points that we can use to define what went wrong on Test Day (and what you should work on to score higher). If you purchase the ESR, then I'll be happy to analyze it for you.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich

Hi Nimi,

Hardluck. But I scored around 650 too (in the mocks) & then I chose to enroll for the 1 month Advanced course that Crackverbal had offered (based on my personal strengths/weaknesses) and it is paying off.
This specific course would not teach you the A,B,Cs of GMAT but it will definitely help you in making that jump to 700's : exactly what I was looking for. GMAT is a tricky exam, but once you understand how it works, you will start applying your knowledge in a more suitable way which will definitely get you a good score (given the effort) and I am positive about the support you will receive from the Crackverbal team regarding the same.

Feel free to drop me a PM if you need more details about how the course generally is/is currently helping me!
Thanks!
