How many of the juniors at Riverside High School took AP chemistry?

(1) All of the 96 juniors and seniors at Riverside HS took chemistry.
(2) Twice as many seniors as juniors took AP chemistry.

Why oa is E? And not C?

Hi,

the only thing comes to me is that there is 'chemistry' in statement 1 & 'AP chemistry' in statement 2. So there is 2 types.
