Hi,
I'm applying to INSEAD and I'm worried about reference letters. I can't ask my boss because there's a strong chance he might not be happy and it might affect my future opportunities with the company.
I plan to get a reference letter from a colleague and a mentor who works with me in extracurricular activities.
My questions are:
1.) How much weight do reference letters carry in INSEAD's decision?
2.) Is my plan (stated above) flawed in any way?

Hi INTJMBA!
I do not know how much weight the letters carry, but your plan is not flawed. I got accepted at INSEAD and both my letters were from former supervisors. Just let them know in additional information that your supervisor does not know that you are applying for MBA.
