HEY THERE actually I did appeared in MGMT last year, but this year I used only GMAT prep test.
Manhattan is not up to the mark. There quantitative is too difficult, but Verbal slightly lower in standard than actual GMAT.

Please let me know if I can answer your additional questions.

Thanks for your answer. I am more interested in MGMAT's SC section. Was it on par with the real exam? I am having trouble improving my timing in SC. I encountered a lot of long SC sentences in MGMAT witch take me 2 minutes to solve. Have you encountered many long SC quesstions in the real exam?

Actually GMAT prep question Pack 1 and GMAT prep exam pack 1 questions are exactly close to what will be asked in the exam. Normally the questions are not so lengthy in exam. CR was like GMAT prep.

I solved IR only for 20 Minutes(8 questions) and then relaxed and went to washroom and washed my face 5 times, came back again after 7-8 minutes then Blindly guessed all the remaining 4 questions and took 8 minutes Break before Quant. this way I assured that IR should not tax my energy for Quant.

Not solving IR in last 10 minutes of IR was my strategy and that gave me ample time to relax before I move on to Quant.

I solved the whole quantitative in 63 Minutes and again saved additional 12 Minutes rest before I move ahead to Verbal. So Between Quantitative and Verbal I got 20 Minutes Gap, enough to save Oxygen reservoir.

Hey Honchos! Congrats on your score! Amazing. :-D

What amazes me much more is the above part of your debrief.

I usually speed up, probably sub consciously, in IR and Q. When there is lot of time left, I reduce my pace for the remaining questions in such a manner that I don't have much extra time towards the end. But I do get drained out while attempting Verbal and my score does fluctuate a little for verbal. I think I must try your strategy. I'll complete the Q session and sit staring at the computer relaxing or meditating and hit the submit button for the last question in the last 5 seconds. :-D

But please tell me one thing, I'm not aware if we can leave the exam center during a session as you did in IR. You left in between a session and resumed the session after your unusual break. Have you done any research on unusual breaks being allowed in the test? Is that allowed in all centers or was it allowed only in your center? Did you have to argue with or convince the test admin? All that I find in the rule book is this "You may leave the testing room or your seat only if you are escorted by a Pearson VUE employee. You must raise your hand for assistance or to leave your seat."

Another question I've is a suggestion for good verbal CATS. I read your view that MGMAT verbal tests are not that great/tough. Did you try the club tests for verbal? What is your view on these tests?

Thanks in advance. All the best for your applications. :)

No one is allowed to leave the exam centre, but during the breaks you can go to washrooms or if you have carried your lunch/breakfast/snacks you can use them during the official breaks.
If you have Natural call or you need some water to drink as you are nauseating or any other medical issues then you can request, but you will be escorted by a Pearson VUE Employee. Yes you have to raise your hand, example if you are feeling nausea and you want to Vomit of-course no one can stop that you can request them by raising hand and they will escort you to washroom/water cooler to drink some water.

Only Official tests are reliable GMAT PREP TESTS BY GMAC.

I will tell you a funny story when I took my GMAT recently. I was following Honchos's plan of not exhausting in IR section. I completed the section with 3 guesses in Multi Source reasoning. I was staring at a clock for the rest of the time. I was setting my desk for the meety part of the test. Suddenly I dropped my passport and I bent down to search and pick it up. By the time I got up the IR time was over and the IR section got submitted. I think I got a heavy penalty. I got a 3 in IR. I was so frustrated that I decided to take GMAT again.

So be careful and click on next on the last question also before the timer runs out.

It is a marathon you have to develop fortitude. we falter in exam beacsue we get exhausted. This exam is a combination of Knowledge, attitude, fortitude and decision making. You will be required in your later career what wars to choose and what to refuse. Strategist intentionally loose some war, but they win the battle. So skip some questions strategically and win the battle(Final GMAT Score).

How to meditate in exam to balance the Oxygen in BRAIN:

Inhale and stop for 20 seconds the exhale slowly, make sure you dont make Noise else others will be disturbed and Pearson will ask to leave the room. This will ensure a Yogic sleep and will give fuel to your Brain. Repeat this for 2-5 Minutes.

Ah KinjiGC that's very unfortunate. You must have left the passport remain there. You shouldn't have left the anxiety get the better of you especially when your time was about to get out. I can understand your pain. I'm out of words!

But KinjiGC I notice that you have posted a great score under your name here. :-D Are you sure you want to give a retake just for the sake of IR? Most programs are not considering the IR score much still. You might want to deeply reconsider your decision. Hope you wrote to your school and spoke to a few consultants!

Honchos, a follow up question. KinjiGC please feel free to comment as well. :-D

In my last attempt I exhausted all 4 GMAT prep mocks. My next attempt, hopefully the last, is on 9th December. I want to ace my ace my verbal score which I am succeeding at. Last time in my mocks my verbal scores were fluctuating, which now I believe was due to not following proper strategies. Further as mentioned earlier I get drained during the verbal session as well. Last time during the real thing, I felt that I messed up in quant (because I was extra ordinarily ahead of time and the last few questions were very easy that I didn't need the scratch pad) and ended up messing in verbal. I got the same old 47 I used to get in my gmat prep mocks in quant and my verbal score slipped from 37 to 31.

I drained my 4 gmat prep mocks and I remember very gmat prep mock answer as soon as I look at the question. I need to practice some mocks while trying to conserve energy for verbal and while applying my strategies for each question in the verbal section. I am planning to take a MGMAT mock from tomorrow every alternate day.

Any advise?
