Hi, I'm wondering what your thoughts are for KFBS essay #3 (see below). I've done an ultra-marathon and feel like it is a life experience that distinguishes me. But that said, could you help me brainstorm how it equips me to contribute to KF? This part is giving me a lot of trouble.

Quote:
What personal qualities or life experiences distinguish you from other applicants? How do these qualities or experiences equip you to contribute to UNC Kenan-Flagler? (500 words maximum)

Thanks!

Any experience you have is only valuable to a program if other students can learn from it and apply it to their respective roles and futures. If you've learned how to navigate cultural differences, in which projects, classes, and activities will that come in handy? If you've experience rare exposure to a field, which students will benefit from your knowledge? Sharing your knowledge and experiences is a large portion of the MBA education, so you'll need to know about the program to highlight the ways in which your experiences will benefit your classmates.
