Hello everyone,
I finally took the GMAT yesterday and I got 675(Q86, V83, DI83). I have been preparing seriously for around a month and my official practice tests were varying- my highest was 725 and lowest was 675. Honestly, I am kind of dissappointed because I was aiming for higher. Do you think I should retake it??
My profile:
I'm an international student but did my undergrad in the US. (Not a target school but it was chosen as the most innovative uni in the world and gaining popularity)
My undergrad major is Business with Strategic Finance concentration and I have a relatively high GPA (3.9).
My references are relatively strong too- one is the professor that I was TAing for.
I have some leadership experience within university but I'm also active outside of it.
I have a variety of internships in corporate finance, fintech, and non-profit.
I'm a senior and planning on applying to Yale SOM Silver Scholars, as well as deferred admission programs of HBS and Wharton. I also will apply to top Masters in Finance and Management programs in Europe, HEC, LSE, IE.
I took the GMAT online which went smoothly but I got very nervous and couldn't focus in the Verbal, which was my first section. That's why I performed the worst in it, usually it's higher. I didn't study a lot but my quant was fresh from school and I focused on Data Insights. I feel like I can do better but I don't want to pay 330 dollars and go through studying more if it's not worth the effort. I can retake it once more before applying in R2. Any suggestions??
