What does it mean when the admissions office sends me an email requesting a 15 minute conversation about my candidacy and interest in the program, 5 days before they are supposed to notify me of my acceptance/rejection? I did an interview at the very beginning of September and have not communicated with them since I sent my application in mid-October. Is this standard practice when the school has not heard from someone in a while or are they trying to decide if they want to accept me into the program?

Call them. It could be some administrative thing from your app (i.e. something missing in your file - college transcript didn't load properly, etc.). Or it could be something to do with your decision. Just call them and find out.

Thanks for your response.
I did set up a time to talk to them this morning and they asked me many of the same questions that they did in the interview, and if anything had changed since I sent my application. Granted, I was probably the first person they interviewed, as I interviewed just before Labor Day weekend.
Any further insight?
