What about -3, -2, -1, 0?
The sum of these integers is -7 (odd).
The question does not restrict the integers to positive values.

-3 + (-2) + (-1) + 0 = -6 = even.

(x-1) + x + (x+1) + (x+2) = 4x+2 = 2(2x+1) = even.

The sum of -3,-2,-1 and 0 is -6 Which is again even!

Sum=N*AVG ; as per we have 4 consecutive integers so its even

Even*Even = Even
Even*ODD= Even

so regardless of AVG value the sum will be even
