Average = Sum of terms divided by number of terms.

Average of p, q, r is
(p+q+r)/3

But, given, p+q=r

Therefore average of p, q, r is
(r+r)/3 = 2r/3

If p + q = r, what is the average of p, q, and r ?

Average = Sum / Number of units
Average = \(\frac{p + q + r}{3}\)
Given; p + q = r
Therefore;
Average = \(\frac{r + r}{3}\) = \(\frac{2r}{3}\)
Answer C...
