If x and y are non-zero numbers, what is the value of y?

(1) $$4^x=\frac{64}{16^y}$$..
$$4^x=\frac{4^3}{4^{2y}}......x=3-2y$$..
Various combinations possible.

(2) $$(5x)^{−y}=25$$..
$$(5x)^{−y}=25=5^2.....(\frac{1}{5x})^y=5^2........5^{y+2}x^y=1=$$..
Again various combination possible

Combined
Two possibilities..
1) y=-2 and y=1
2) y=-1 and x=5
