Hi Bunuel,
the question is asking for the units digit of (10X - 9Y)^2. There are two interpretations possible with the given expression =>
1. 10 * X - 9 * Y - No possible solution
2. 10X - 9Y, in whicch X, Y are digits in 10X and 9Y respectively.
How do we interpret these correctly. Does GMAT always specify whether X is a variable getting multiplied or a digit?
