You should definitely apply. They don’t mention any cut off as such. The best option is to put forth a good application. So I think you should apply.

A few generic tips for WAT/PI preparation:


Read business newspapers, and stay updated on current happenings in the business world. Understand the dynamics of your industry, and the present business scenario. Most important of all, be clear regarding why you want to pursue MBA.

I am sharing the questions I was asked at the time of my interview:

Profile related questions (How is the industry doing, what challenges it is facing etc.)
Questions from current affairs/Economics (GDP of India, Sectors of economy etc.)
Basic Financial statement questions ( What is a balance sheet, how is it different than income statement etc.)
12th Standard Mathematics (Trigonometry: How to calculate height of Qutub Minar from the length of shadow)
General Knowledge (MP & MLA of your constituency, Speaker of Lok Sabha, MP of Lucknow etc.)

Following is an indicative list of WAT topics asked in previous batch.

Everything is fair in war and business
Business sustainability is a fad
Business and Ethics are like oil and water
Is IT killing innovation
Globalisation is a curse or boon

I am applying for the IPMX round-2. I see that the interview choice is only noida. Is that the case with round-1 applicants as well? Are interviews not held in bangalore for round-2?

In R1, there were multiple city options. In R2 they have kept only Noida as interview location it seems.

Hi, anyone received invite for R2 WAT and PI? Alumni and R1 selected candidates please suggest how should I prepare and whether there is an option for online WAT and Skype PI since I am currently working outside India.

There are quite a few people with higher work ex as well as 660 GMAT score. AWA is not considered. But if your WAT before the interview goes in the same direction of your GMAT AWA then it could be a problem.
