Guys, I've just received a call from IMD: they propose me an interview!!! :-D . It's soooo greatttttttt :-D

I have choice between 17th and 24th May. I picked the second one ( 24th). Is there anyone else who will be in Lausanne on 24th?

Thanks anapplicant and shubhamb!! I was suprised yesterday when the lady told me that she was from IMD. I didn't expect it to come so early at all. She also told me that the general rule is 3 - 6 weeks...

congratulations!!!

it is so strange that they start to call so early,
especially if to take in consideration the days of the interwiew more than 1 month after.
Do they expected the answer immediately (about the date), or you told them it later?

I think that you don't have to choose the interview date right away. I dit it because I had my agenda with me...Anyway, IMD asked me to confirm the date once again by email. :)

It's been three weeks already, I could have processed the whole Whartons 800-people class in this much time! :)

A brief update for those who wait for R2 invites - I just emailed adcom, they said they the interview decision on me won't happen this week. They weren't sure though.

I got an invite to attend the course on 7th April.. Andreaspirelli .. my friend we took the assesment day together.

My profile :

GMAT : 620
30, Male , Indian, 8 yrs of work experience
Bachelors and Masters in Commerce , Diploma in Finance and Marketing
1 with Bpo sector, 2 in Financial services in India, 3 in healthcare and consumer products in India and Srilanka and presently working in Sudan handling country operations for a commodity company.
Basically have worked in Sales, Business Development , Marketing in Healthcare and agriculture commodities.

All the best to everyone for IMD.

Congratulations 25340! The dates are all Tuesday, like what IMD told me, except two interview sessions in Singapore which will take place on 20th & 21st May.

So at least there are 6 interview sessions up to now ( 4 in Lausanne: May 17th, 24th, 30th & June 7th + 2 in Singapore)
