Wonderful. i am sure enough that they do it days and nights and know to take best fit. They are ecelent in everything they do.

Everyone had smooth experience in interview and/or whole day?

They are really good in what they are doing. :)

From what I've heard from the people around - all of them were at least satisfied with the day, one colleague had interview a bit more on the probing side than mine, but again it was pleasant and nice. :)

I've applied R4, will share the outcome once it I will be notofied. :)

My profile is 5 years of corporate finance in progressive roles, graduated from a 'tier a' canadian university, some entrepreneurship and good gmat score.

I was at the September 16 interview with vd. There were 9 of us. Of the 5 I know about – 3 have been waitlisted, 2 accepted.

Ive heard of people being on WL till December so it really depends.

Just wanted to share with you all my experience, for the benefit of future generations of applicants :)

  • Applied: Apr-1-2011
  • Email on interview decision: May-10 (there was a phone call a few days before that)
  • interviewed: May-24
  • decision to put me into WL: Jun-8
  • Asked by adcom for the confirmation to keep me in the WL: Sep-8
    (I also attached some information of my career progression)
  • Finally rejected: Nov-8

Pretty sure I was rejected because there were too many applicants of my nationality (Russia). At least three Russians were waitlisted of those who interviewed with me and in the next round. Having said that, I still had a really good experience in terms of communication, interview day, etc.

Sorry to hear about the negative decision, esp so soon before the matriculation but glad to hear you had a good experience and were able to learn something. Are you going to try IMD again or whats the plan now?

I have been admitted to a three other programs but chose Cambridge Judge and have just finished my first term there. And it has been fantastic so far! So no regrets :)

Would have been my moment of joy of rejecting an offer :)
To be completely honest, I would not have been able to afford the course without taking on too much debt, so I was reluctant anyway.
