I'm an Indian female planning to apply to IMD. I've been working in an analytics & consulting firm focused on consumer products industry and want to pursue a career further in that industry. However, I've heard that FMCG companies don't usually sponsor visas. Would anyone be aware if this holds true for IMD graduates? FMCG/consumer product companies are one of the highest recruiters in IMD, however I'm not very clear on their visa policies.
Any insight on this would be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure about Europe, but I can say that getting visa sponsorship in USA is tough. With increasing regulations and availability of visa ready resources, companies are avoiding hiring international students. Even if they hire and file your visa, there are less chances that your application gets picked up in lottery. Overall, it is getting tough day by day for international students to secure a permanent job in a good company.
