Per the meaning of this choice, the documentaries from Montreal's sociologists are (right now) containing nothing remotely groundbreaking. Futhermore, it is not logical that documentaries are containing something. so this choice is incorrect
that does not stand for anything in this sentence. so this is incorrect
Therefore D is the answer

Meaning of the sentence: socially relevant documentaries (Plural) produced by Museum directors and Montreal's sociologists are being compared.
Whenever faced with such a problem, we need to make sure that the entities being compared are logically comparable- apples to apples, singular to singular, and plural to plural.
