You need women as well as men.
A should be it.
If we use men AND women, then the sentence means that those 28%of the women who chose business made the business a major for both the groups...
As well as says that it was already a major for men and 28% women after enrolling in the program, made a major for women.
B uses THE MEN... which is wrong comparison.
A should be it.
