'They ' is quite ambiguous. what does 'they refer to'? out
(B) now often showcase the talents of local artists, both those who write about local issues and those who write
(C) they often showcase the talents of local artists now, both those writing about local issues and who write
Same reasoning as A.
(D) often showcase now the talents both of local artists writing about local issues and who are writing
Both of X and who.. Not ||
(E) often showcase the talents of both local artists writing about local issues and those
EDIT: Yea -- it seems that B seems to be the right answer. E is not right because 'those' here is meant to offer an alternative subject. hence E is out. In B, 'both' refers to talents, which the local artists differ on showing.
