Hi everyone,
Would appreciate some honest advice on my profile and goals.
I’m an Indian dentist with ~4 years of experience across private dental practice and as a medical advisor at a healthcare insurance TPA.
Post-MBA, I’m aiming for healthcare consulting, pharma/healthcare strategy, or general consulting roles — ideally in Europe or the Middle East for a few years before potentially returning to India.
I’ve recently interviewed with IE Business School and ESADE Business School and am trying to understand the realistic career outcomes from these programs.
A few things I’d love insight on:
• How strong are IE and ESADE for consulting and healthcare-related recruiting?
• How difficult is it realistically for non-EU internationals to secure jobs in Spain/Europe after these MBAs?
• Does not speaking Spanish initially create a major disadvantage, even if I plan to learn seriously during the MBA?
• Between IE and ESADE, which has stronger international mobility and Middle East opportunities?
• From an ROI perspective, do these programs make sense for someone targeting Europe/Middle East rather than returning immediately to India?
Not targeting investment banking or PE — more interested in building a strong long-term international career in healthcare/business strategy.
Would really appreciate perspectives from alumni, recruiters, or anyone familiar with these schools and markets. Thanks!
