Hi there,
Thanks for posting and I'm sorry it took me a bit to get back to you. So let's see what we've got here, shall we?
Academically, your GMAT is a massive wildcard. Once you have that score in hand, then we'll be able to get to work. The simple reason is we hear this a lot. "I took some mocks and my score is ~750 so what schools can I select" and then the day of the test comes and they hit a 700 or a 680, etc. and then the previous conversation we had was purely hypothetical. I have COMPLETE faith in you that you'll knock it out of the park but you understand my point
. When are you taking the test?
As for your performance during undergrad, putting your GPA into context will be important. If you had a 66% and the highest was a 75%, then you're probably in a pretty decent percentile for your class. Just showcase that to help the adcom understand your performance. You can't change it now so it's all about how you present it!
Professionally, I kind of like your profile a bit more than the usual IT consultant. You left TCS where you were clearly a top performer to go try something new. You went from really technical stuff (requirements, yawn) to more end to end IT consulting type work (was this in Europe or just a European company but in India?). Then you left that to work with startups. You've shown a lot proactivity in your career and I think if we can highlight your impact and scope that'll set you apart a bit from the traditional profile. I'd really like to dig into your work at the telecom company and these startups.
You have some decent involvement activities but I'd like to get the full picture before I really comment on this. If you're as involved as you say, it'll come down to what we select and what story we want to tell. We might include some things you haven't listed, and exclude some things that might surprise you. However, you don't strike me as someone who sits on their hands so that's great!
One thing you haven't mentioned is WHY an MBA? What do you want to do after? What gaps are you trying to close? What do you want out of the experience.
However, I think the school range you've listed is a good one (assuming your GMAT!). I'm not sure if Kellogg or Booth are the right options just yet (because I don't know why you want your MBA) but a couple in the top 10 would be a good idea with that GMAT score.
We'd love to help you through the process. If by availability you mean if we will have bandwidth to take you on as a client, that shouldn't be a problem. If you're targeting R1 deadlines, we'll have to work quickly but we can do it!
