No kidding - I'm experiencing those symptoms of ageing too! :-) I don't think I've been as nervous waiting for a result before!

Is anyone else annoyed by these information update emails. It's the final week of waiting for us -and so far every morning I've had a random mass-distribution email from them -first the Jake Cohen one and then a generic "Financing your MBA". They are teasing us!!

Guys you gotta work on your nerving systems :) Even though this looks like a common thing they're doing - on the R1 intake, they've also sent some info mail just on the due day.
But it looks like they ARE working on that side of the world, so we will get our answers on time.

According to the Businessweek forum, acceptances have started coming out for Round 2. Has anyone received one yet?

I guess they are contacting those living in east asia as they are already 1st of september there. It seems normal from what I have seen on forums that some are contacted 2 days before deadline...

Just saw a post on Jan'11 waitlist thread - an R2 applicant has received the waitlist mail. Looks like MLP has started sending out the results. Anyone else from East/ South East Asia has heard?

It's totally not over, yet. A couple of weeks ago there was massive movement off the waitlist for those put on it at the R1 deadline. It seemed like 20 or so people were admitted from the WL then. Keep your head up and contact some of the people from that thread to see how your can boost your chances. Good luck!

I don't think they're following the region thing religiously. I'm from the Philippines and I haven't received an email. Maybe it also depends on your coordinator.

I just received Email from Marie last night. I am put in waitlist for R2 :cry:

My background:

Chinese based in Singapore
Age: 29
GMAT 730
Bachalor (1st class, honor), Ph.D in Engineering (Part-Time)
2.5 year semiconductor manufacturing industry , 1.5 year research institute

My contact is Marie. Right after the decision email, I receive an email from INSEAD saying she is leaving INSEAD Admission Committee.

I received interview invitation on 2 July. My story proofs that early interview invitation does not mean you are having the advantage over other candidates. One of my interviewers kept asking me to consider US MBA programs although he graduated from INSEAD (At least 5 times, through the interview). I am not sure whether it is the reason that I am in such a situaion right now.

Thanks scholar. The movement on waitlist gives me positive attitude, and wanna channel my energy on how to boost my chance. I see many of INSEAD students/alumni were waitlisted so I will find out more on that.

I have MLP as ad com and I recieved an email informing about the change of email contact. Did you guys get that too?

It seems that MLP is sending out emails much quicker than everyone else for both R2 final decisions and R3 interview invites...probably because she is leaving!

Has anyone heard from SH yet?
