Hi folks! First time poster. Can someone post the number of Canadians on MBA connect? Any idea how many Canadians were admitted last year?

Regarding reapplication, my understanding is that if you reapply for the next intake (Sept) then you only submit the last essay but if you reapply for next Jan then you could submit all the essays which might be what you need...

hey gr8tWo, regarding submitting only last essay for re-applicant, did you get that info from INSEAD? I couldn't find anything about that on their website.

Thinking of reapplying for Sept 2012 but want to re-submit all my essays.

Yes I got the information from INSEAD and its not on the website. Maybe if you reapply for the next batch you can submit only one but if you want you might be able to submit all, but after the next batch (Jan 13 intake and forward) you HAVE to submit all essays. I would suggest you ask your coordinator about this just to be sure. Ask if you reapply for Sept 12 if you can submit all of your essays again since you believe that your essays did not best describe your achievements and personality. Good luck!

In the INSEAD admission policy (https://mba.insead.edu/admissions/admission_policies.cfm) it's stated that INSEAD normally do not encourage applications from previously rejected candidates. If you need to reapply, INSEAD will tell you what's wrong with your current application and what needs to be fixed i.e. Increase GMAT. If you were rejected and reapplying after 6 months won't help. You need to wait a little longer, have something change drastically (I.e. Job promotion or new job) then re-apply.

You're welcome! No, no dates yet... The email did say "thank you for your patience" so I am just waiting. I have started preparing for the interview, I can control this situation a lot through preparation so I will be fully prepared for it. My main concern right now is the state of the Greek economy and the liquidity issues that go along with it. It really sucks.

hi gr8tWo - it took 2 days from the day i received the 'selected for interview' email to get the interviewers information. Goodluck to u (and all the R3 candidates who are on their way to the interviews).

Just received mine as well. I think the instructions are quite clear on that. You just need to send your "profile". They are not supposed to consider things like your academics and GMAT etc. So in order not to be biased they are not supposed to ask or receive such information. Of course, there are cases were the interviewers ask for a CV etc. and I guess you cannot really say no...

I remember for R2 it varied wildly, and is supposedly dependent on how quickly they can confirm interviewers in your city. For me it was 8 days between pre-selection notification and receiving the contact details of my interviewers.

Isn't the total admit capacity for 2012'D supposed to be c. 500?
