Is there a deadline by which we need to have had the interviews (obviously in advance of the ultimate October decision deadline)?

I believe the target is to have all your interviews done by the end of September.

Hi

I have recently changed my job and have been with the new firm for less than a month. I m having difficulty in finishing the First job description essay, since there are no 'results achieved' and 'leadership examples' yet. How should I tackle this problem?

Thanks!!

In the INSEAD admission policy (https://mba.insead.edu/admissions/admission_policies.cfm) it's stated that INSEAD normally do not encourage applications from previously rejected candidates. If you need to reapply, INSEAD will tell you what's wrong with your current application and what needs to be fixed i.e. Increase GMAT. If you were rejected and reapplying after 6 months won't help. You need to wait a little longer, have something change drastically (I.e. Job promotion or new job) then re-apply.

I e-mailed INSEAD and they told me not to re-apply *cry*

Hi all,

I have few doubts on filling the "Professional Background" section.

I am an entrepreneur and see that a lot of fields such as DEPARTMENT, JOB FUNCTION, BONUS & OTHER COMPENSATION etc don't apply to me. Since my venture is a 2 year old startup, I very much reinvest the profits back into the company and don't draw an salary. In such a case, do I leave these fields blank? There is no space for me to provide any explanation. With most of the fields left blank, my profile might project a wrong (weak) image.

How are other entrepreneur applicants handling this part?

Also there is no space to add details on professional awards & recognition.

Since INSEAD doesn't ask for a resume, my biggest challenge is how to capture all the strong points in my resume in their form which doesn't provide the right sections for me to fill those details.

Any inputs?

Department: Management

Job Function: Entrepreneur

Compensation: You must be drawing some money out of your company for your living expenses. Write the average amount of money that you spend on living per month as your compensation. Do not leave the fields blank unless you have a very good reason to do so.

Plus there is a job related essay in which you can mention about the cash flows of your company

Jan2012 intake application had a special column for Honors, Awards and Recognition. You can mention your achievements (job+academic) in that.

Thanks. Am trying to fit in all information in the fields given. Regarding Awards, the given fields are only for "academic awards & honours" & for "extra-curricular activities". There is no field for "Job related Awards". But I guess I'll add the details in these two fields itself with appropriate heading.

How many Brits?

Isn't the total admit capacity for 2012'D supposed to be c. 500?
Total: 479
Brits: 27

And yes the admit capacity is about 500. I think they would send invitation to about 600 or so because not all who have admits are going to join.
Sounds like a lot of Brits compared to previous years?

Hi there are 485 admits and 35 French. Just a note that a lot of people have dual citizenship so they may not be counted as French.

Good luck!

You're welcome. It doesn't sound high to me... I thought the same thing, it should be one of the highest citizen-ships, but what do I know...

Good luck!

Hi Guys,

Posting first time on this thread. Never knew it existed or could have drawn some references from it earlier. I am a R3 applicant and finished off with my first interview. Awaiting my second interview which should be sometime next week.

Kind of disheartened to see that already 63 Indians have been accepted and hence my chances of acceptance have gone down.
