cruzzi10,
The problem is that your app was in a previous version, a 4.something. And the interview form is in the new version 5.0. I mailed the support guys and they said that I need to download the new application form and copy paste all the data into that and then export. Pretty dumb.
According to me, a slightly better option is to copy paste everything directly to the interview form.
Better still, send the whole app PDF (the good old 4. something version) to interviewers so that they can also read the essays.
Just my 2 cents. Below link should work for downloading new app form.

Hi guys,

did anyone of you try to follow INSEAD step-by step instructions to export the profile section from the online PDF application?

I tried to export my application data from my application form, and import them in the interview form. Although I did not receive any errors from Adobe Reader, after the import process, 90% of the fields in the interview form are still empty.

I am using Adobe Reader 9.
Any clues?

Thank you,
cruzzi10

guys i am having the same problem. i cant believe tech support recommends copy pasting the entire application - that is pretty stupid. has anyone else found a way round this???

hi,
Do I need to fill a form for interview? I was thinking that I need to copy the first six pages in word document and just send that word document. Can you give me the link where the steps are explained

Got the email! Half good half bad. Good news is that they liked my application bad news is that they require a higher quant score on the GMAT. So I have a few days to prepare to catch the R3 train. The pressure is on.

Q 42 (61%), V 36 (78%), 650 (79%)

650 Check, V 36 Check, Q 42 Not cool. My understanding is that there is a minimum hard limit for quant which is 45 (71%). On a good day I can get V 50, but need to do better in Q. I am not far off so I should be able to make it.

Thanks. I have a very similar score: Q43 (65%) V36 (79%). I'm planning to apply for the class starting at September 2012.

Based on your outcome, I think I shouldn't even bother applying without improving my quant score first.

There is plenty of time to increase your quant score by 2 to preferably at least 4 points. I used the Knewton course before which is pretty good in explaining strategies and concepts but at the end of the day (and actually at the end of my preparation) I realized that its a matter of doing as many questions as possible. So, that's my plan now. For the next few days to solve as many quant questions as I can. If I can do it in 10 days you can do it in 2 months. But don't forget that the GMAT is only a check on a box, the important thing is a strong and well written application but of course you also need that check on the box.

Anybody encountered technical problem importing application data to your 'interview form'? Seems like I have to manually type in all the information again!

It is against interview protocol to ask you for your whole application but if he/she asked what else can you do...

i offered to send my entire application to both interviewers. one of them responded saying he only wanted the limited profile but the other one accepted the entire application.

what are the pros and cons of showing the essays to the interviewers?

Hello everybody
i am suprised to see that you are preparing your interviews...
In the email that i received, they did not give me any name. they told me that they would contact me later.
Is it bad or good? Is it because i am in France?

that just means you havent received your interviewer contact details yet. you'll get it sometime soon. i got mine within the next day of receiving my interview invite email, however, its normal to receive them even up to 10 days later, and it some cases even 2 or 3 weeks.

Google "clearadmit wiki" - find the INSEAD section and read other people's experiences. Also check out the posts when Round 1 people gave their interviews. It'll give you a better idea.

Rule of thumb - make sure you know your application by heart, stay true to yourself and be passionate about MBA & INSEAD. If you wan't specific help, you can always pm round 1 admits.

Good luck.
