Your hard stats are pretty damn impressive, not only that but you tick all the boxes in the extra-curricular (with awards!), intl. exp and so on - so i can see why they're trying to get you in early

I got my pre-invitation letter as well yesterday 
Male, 32, 7 years of workex, from Scandinavia. Background as engineer in computer science with ok-ish grades (somewhere around top 25%) from the top technical university here. Currently working as project manager leading around 60 people.
I also spent a lot of time on the essays, both figuring out what to write and how to write it. I didn't use a consultant, but my wife was invaluable in giving me feedback.
