Hey, u guys got till Friday to hear, so don't give up. I got my pre-selection email and my final admission confirmation call on the last day of the respective deadlines; everyone else had already heard back. Hang in there and don't give up till the last minute. Good luck to everyone :-)

Those selected for the interviews, congratulations!! Most of us who got shortlisted for the interview in R1 ultimately got in, so seems like the interview is more of a verification round (ie to check if you are the person you claim to be in your essays) rather than another round with an independent review. So be confident during your interviews, run through your essays/ CV if you need to and kill it! Cya'll at Singa/ Fonty! :-)

So, in Paris all the AOs would be busy wrapping up for the day, probably chatting among themselves, stuff like - "oh, I had 50 pre-selections to send today, didn't feel like sending more than 10, ended up sending only 5."

Just a thought (marked as 'low-priority')-

These b-schools need to streamline this process. Don't they know that candidates tend to get glued to the forums and waste their time in anticipation. No doubt there are demigods also who can channel their thoughts properly and stay productive throughout the day. Doesn't anyone think that, there should be a 2-3 hour window, let's say on one particular day during which the emails can be sent for decisions like pre-selections and selections. I fail to understand the complexities involved in this.

Received my preselection email earlier today by VM! feels fantastic. Luckily with other applications I had to wait for the deadline day pm to get a reply so was not expecting this one!

It appears that interviews must be finished by 25th July. If I am away for a few days before hand should I let them know or discuss with the interviewer(s)?

any advice would be appreciated.

Profile: Top 3 UK undergrad in Maths and Computing. 720 GMAT. 7 years private banking, based in London 27 years old.

Insead15d, im a round 1 admit and JS is my AO, JS usually sends the responses out a bit later than others, and I got the admit notification from her on deadline day as well. So hang in there guys!
