Hi, has anyone who is presently based out of India get calls?

Hey, I am based out of Mumbai. No call or email as of yet. Let's see how today and tomorrow unfold.

Read on the last year's thread that candidates from India get calls on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Only one call was reported here on Tuesday. This is strange. Are shortlisted people not active on the forums. Hope we hear from SH today

Hey Guys, since most of us are going through a tough phase and there is still some time before French offices start, I just thought of diverting our minds to a topic not that relevant now  . In case not accepted to INSEAD, what is the plan B for most of us?

I am applying to HKUST and NUS since I aim to stay in Asia post MBA.

Yesterday was a damp squib! I hope we hear something from SH today. The only positive note in my opinion is that no one residing in India has heard from SH. I also read that they try to stay below 10% candidates from a particular country. With 22 already admitted from India in the 1st round and two more rounds to go, I really don't know how many candidates would be admitted from R2 to fill up the remaining 25-28 odd seats!

So my story is...i am looking for the programs that start in January 2015. So I will be applying to mostly all of them or as long as my wallet permits and even if they are out of my league Anyone aware of January entry programs that I might be missing.

That would be even better because then I could spend P4 and P5 networking and finding a suitable job in Singapore.

Are you applying to HEC Paris? Great school with lesser costs and scholarships are also decent. Also you get to stay in Paris. I think their deadline for the next round of their innumerable number of rounds in Aug 01.

Anyway...let's not troll too much here. People tend to get anxious seeing a sudden spike in the number of posts.

I have been following the posts on this forum. Really anxious to hear back. :/ My AO is JS.

Any Pakistanis here? My profile: Pakistani female, work experience in non-profit.

Lets see what happens. Fingers crossed. Best of luck to all those waiting to hear back. I know EXACTLY how it feels :(

A few points that I gathered from trolling through various forums on gmatclub.com and the internet (a nervous mind gotta do something to keep itself busy, right?

* As far as this thread is concerned, only one Indian so far has heard from SH. Given that he/she is a recently naturalized US citizen, not sure if he/she would still fall in the 'Indian' bucket

* A lot of Indians in the previous batches have heard on the last day, in the second half as well. Not sure about the 'Indians hear on Tues/Thurs' point

* Last batch had 56 Indians in them. Given that 15D has 22 already, there are ~34 slots still to be filled. Even if the school interviews 2-3 candidates per slot, that should make for around 85 calls interviews atleast in R2 and R3. Even if I use a 60:40 ratio (assuming international students like Indians would ideally vie for R2 rather than R3), atleast 50-55 interview invites should go out for R2. Going by trends on previous threads, we should hear about atleast 4-5 interview calls on this thread. Even if I take the US/Indian case into consideration, we should hear about 3-4 more invites (yipee, hurrah, I've made it!! type of posts) in the next 33 hours (assuming Fonty closes at 5:30pm local time and HS loves building up excitement till the last minute!) 8-)

Hang in there guys! It's not the best feeling but I have to admit that interacting with you all on this forum has helped me stay calm and feel a part of a larger group striving to make its mark :)

That's a lot of quantitative research. I am sure you must be aiming for IB/Consulting post MBA

Hey!!! I am new neither to gmatclub nor to this forum; but probably my first post in here. I am an Indian working in Abu Dhabi for little above an year.
Indeed the wait is killing. My AO is IR.
Meanwhile, so how does it work? people with same nationality, or same present location, or same industry get same AO, OR it is all random? I hear all Indians have HS as AO...(Why I am the only one without HS then :P)
