What are the chances of admit at INSEAD w/o any international exp.?
I work in the govt./public sector and there is literally no work that is handled by my organisation out of the country (India).
I feel other aspects of my application are strong, though GMAT score is just on the margin (80+ percentile in V as well as Q).
I thought I could benefit from the research of INSEAD Gurus/admits/applicants on this forum.

Regards.

Dear Paul,
What is your opinion on the subject?
I was expecting some guidance/opinion from the INSEAD experts/admits on this forum.
I presume the chances are slimmer w/o international exp, but the student profile at INSEAD site does lead to the assumption that there are admits w/o such exp.
I would welcome any opinion on the subject.

Regards.

Artemov,

I think INSEAD would be a definite longshot with a marginal GMAT score and no international exposure. If your heart is set on applying there then go ahead and I would strongly encourage you to apply to several other schools where your odds will be higher. I imagine INSEAD gets a very large number of applicants from India, so the odds will just be that much tougher for you.

Good luck,
