Also is it possible for me to develop an profile for Investment Banking and what b schools should i target?
Hi,
You have a really good profile. ISM plus XLRI plus FRM plus CFA plus GAIL and Oracle is good enough for a great career!
The biggest question that needs to be addressed is "Why second MBA?". Your work experience is less from the perspective of foreign MBA as the average experience required is 4-5 years. Moreover, your post MBA experience is very little so you have to justify the need for second MBA so soon.
You have worked with Oracle Financial service and you are a CFA level 3 candidate. You have also cleared FRM. In GAIL, you are working in the pricing department of GAIL. At the top, you already have a MBA degree. This is enough to land you with a job in investment banking if you will give a good effort at that. An additional MBA will add little value to your aim, whether Indian or International. Our honest opinion is that you should try to change your career path with the current profile itself. Work in investment banking or related field for an year or two and then try for an international MBA (Indian MBA is not useful for you).
The Choice of college will depend upon the GMAT score and your overall profile for which we will require more information.
