Hello

Just a quick question on interviews at elite schools. Generally, what is the timing of the invitations. Are they generally sent a few weeks after application? On average, what percentage of acceptances are interviewed, what percentage of interviewees are accepted etc. Any statistics or general feeling would be great to know. I searched on this topic but could not ID much. Thanks

There is not general rule of thumb or meaningful average. Some schools interview almost anyone who wants to interview (kellogg) and others by invitation only. Also the percentage of interviewees accepted varies dramtically. You can find much of this information in the school profiles on BW Otherwise you need to go to the schoolls' websites. Also, check out the MBA admissions chat transcripts at Accepted.com. Finally, if you want to prepare and know what to expect during interviews, visit the MBA Interview Feedback Database, which has feedback organized by schools.

Good luck!
