I GOT A SCORE OF 700 WITH 38 IN VERBAL AND 48 IN QUANT.I WISH TO APPLY TO ERASMUS UNIVERSITY IN ROUND 2 .I HAVE SCORED PRETTY LOW ON IR (SCORE 3) AND AWA(SCORE 4).WILL IT MATTER A LOT???

While the IR and AWA scores could be potential red flags for some schools, we would recommend that you focus on the rest of your application and go ahead and apply. If the rest of your application is strong, you needn't worry much.

First, I need you to understand that while being a critical element of your profile, your GMAT scores aren’t everything. The IR and AWA score can be vital for some schools, while for others, you could gladly focus on building up other elements (ECAs, Essays, LORs, etc.) of your profile in order to book your seat in top MBA programs. As a robust overall profile, have the best chances of getting admitted to any top B-School.

As for a Full-time MBA at RSM, they do not have a minimum GMAT/GRE requirement. Hence, I would suggest you work on developing the rest of your profile and draft mesmerizing essays by connecting the dots and crafting an impactful narrative. You may read an article on IR score, you will get some insights.

The IR score is important, though it isn't the most critical data point. Remember that, while they are a key application component, test scores are not the be-all and end-all. If you are happy with your 700, I would not worry too much about your IR and AWA scores.
