It should be E.

1- Insufficient - It tries to trick you into thinking $$\frac{1}{2}*6*8 = 24$$ but we do not know if the triangle is a right triangle and/or if 6 and 8 are the largest sides.
2- Insufficient - No clue on dimensions of the triangle.

Combining 1 and 2, we still can have triangles where 8 is the hypotenuse of the right triangle which would make the third side smaller than 8 and consequently area less than 24. If 8 and 6 do form the right sides (not the hypotenuse), then area would be 24 so even combining the two does not provide us a definitive answer.
