Is work experience measured at the time of app or course start date?

Question

If a school requires X number of years of work experience, do they define the cutoff at the time of application submission or course start date?

I imagine it might vary between schools, but I'm looking for what the case is in general.

Would be good to know as that makes a big difference to the feasibility of my app.

I've always seen it posed as number of years (or months) of work experience by matriculation into the program.

Hi,
Most schools doesn't have a minimum requirement of the years of work experience. Hence, schools doesn't really measure work experience on your app. Students in business schools have an average working experience of 3-5 years.

In general, this should be at matriculation, similar to the way the schools would compute for the student's age.
