Let x=2
So x^2 =4

to find
x^2 > X
statement 1
x is a prime number
X^2> X is possible in every case

statement 1 is sufficient

statement 2
X > 1 or x=1
when x =1
then x^2 = x

when X > 1
x^2 > x

there are two cases

hence statement two not sufficient

st 1. x is prime number sufficient because prime number cannot be negative and fraction x^2 is always greater than x
st2 x is equal or greater than 1 - sufficient
