Is \(x^2 > x\) ?

(1) x is a prime number
(2) x ≥1
i) x is prime ,so x can be 2,3 ,5,7...
Let x=2
So x^2 =4
4>2
So sufficient
ii) x>=1
So let x=1
So x^2=1
1 is not greater than 1
So not sufficient
Answer is A

to find
x^2 > X
statement 1
x is a prime number
X^2> X is possible in every case

statement 1 is sufficient

statement 2
X > 1 or x=1
when x =1
then x^2 = x

when X > 1
x^2 > x

there are two cases

hence statement two not sufficient

answer is A option
