Hello everyone, delighted to share that I have a deferred admit from ISB (for classes staring in April, 2024) and NUS (for classes starting in August, 2023). Now I am trying to weigh the pros and cons of the programs and would really appreciate your inputs on the same. A little more information about me- I have close to 4 years of work experience working in corporate treasury (2.5 years) and consulting (1.5 years), I am a CFA L-3 candidate and post MBA I would either want to continue in consulting or pivot to IB (not entirely sure at this point but I am open to both).
I would want to build a career here in Asia pacific and thus both the programs seem like a good fit. I sometimes feel that a MBA from abroad will provide me with a better global perspective (which ISB will not be able to provide I think). Would really appreciate your inputs on this!

Generally, ISB will provide stronger opportunities in India. NUS will be better for Asia-Pacific opportunities, but still those closer to Singapore. ISB is a stronger school for consulting as well.

Hi! Congrats on your admits and I found your topic in the GMAT sub-forum.
My guess is you have already declined ISB since the cohort started but my suggestion would be to attend the school in the country you plan to work in
If you want a career in India, then ISB
If you want to be in Singapore or you want to have some fun traveling then NUS. I think there are some folks who are able to command a premium with foreign MBA in their home country. That's something for you to answer as I know little about India (sorry) but it may work ... I know some of the folks from IESE and other EU schools are able to find good jobs in home countries that pay a premium. There are some opportunities when companies are looking for westernized staff but they are not many.
At the same time if you are thinking about IB and Finance, makes sense to try to find a job in Singapore - more opportunities perhaps there.
