Any ideas what will be the selection ratio for R3?

I'm not aware of the ratio this year. In the past though, around 300-350 students were selected fro Stage 3

what does this mean please?
I am just preparing for my GMAT and hoping to apply in R3 for ISB and other schools. Havent' thought much as I am still early in my prep.

Please refer to the other groups of ISB. This is exclusively for the YLP mode.

Do they only inform a candidate if theyre selected? Or will they update the Stage 2 Application status even if a candidate is not shortlisted to stage 3?

Can't make a call without looking at your overall profile. There are instances when people with a score of 650 in GMAT were called for interviews

From what I know, they'll inform you of their decision before sending out the last set of interview mails - 2nd week of October

Hey, from the information I could gather from my friends - ISB has just finished verifying the applications (those cases where the test scores are pending). People should start receiving the interview calls soon. What remains to be seen is, whether they will call the candidates city wise or not.

If anyone got a call, or know someone who got a call, I request you to please post the relevant details and City name so others can get an idea.

P.S: That's a decent GMAT Score btw, but your situation is kinda dicey because your score is right around the avg score for ISB. If you have a spike in your profile across academics/ Extracurriculars/ Sports/ Research - you have a good chance to get shortlisted for stage 3.

Hey!
Yes ISB has finished verifying profiles. I figured since interviews start on 15th sept, people should start getting emails by now. The city-wise thing is something to be seen, someone I know got selected in YLP last year and they weren’t offered any interview location preferences at all. So who knows?

Thanks, I believe the average is around 710 so it’ll be a close call. I’m a female economics student so I do have diversity on my side, and fairly extensive leadership experience throughout college

Will keep updating any relevant news I get from my circle

Do you have good projects? Did you get your essays vetted by someone?
If yes - then there's a very high possibility to get shortlisted because of consistent academic performance and projects.
But one thing caveat though, if there are many engineering candidates from IITs/ BITS/ Top NITs in the applicant pool this time (provided they too have consistent academic performance, not just the privilege of the institution backing them up), it might get difficult for you. Ofcourse, assuming you aren't from them.

PlaceCom Heads from the older IITs are generally a shoo in to the interview round afaik. If your CGPA is decent too, you have a very high chance of getting a call..

I know a guy from from one of those colleges with a cg of around 8.1 and very similar profile - and got shortlisted to stage 3. You have very a good chance.

Do you know who all are applying from your campus? What are their profiles like?
