Re: ISB YLP 2020 Applicants [#permalink]
I did not get selected as well. Guess CGPA was low as I had diverse leadership experiences to show and an we'll defind essay.

Can anyone tell what is the minimum CGPA and the average CGPA for YLP ?

I'm in third year BTech. Maybe next year there's an opportunity.

I don't know whether this is true. These marks matter but the essay , awards and activities matter as well.

Congratulations to those who made it to the next round.

I am an ISB YLP Admit. I got selected last year.

I have shared my GMAT journey in this post. Hope this helps you.

One Advice- I heard from some people GMATOnline is very strict and it's difficult to write on the digital whiteboard. I would recommend giving GMAT the traditional way once they allow centres to open but before the deadline. However, I don't know how long will the current situation last, so it's better to prepare in both GMAT and GMATOnline style because you never know what will happen after the lockdown ends.

No case study. However I was asked a strategy question related to a hobby I mentioned.

I mentioned about cricket and they gave me a situation where I am the captain of ISB cricket team and I had to prepare a strategy for team selection. How to select 11 players? How many bowlers, all rounders, batsmen etc. Then it went further to pitch type, weather conditions etc.

Interview is just profile based and not a stress interview

I plan to take GMAT in the month of August . Most probably August end.Is it a decent time considering they would accept unofficial scores?

Since you need to submit the AWA score if you are giving offline GMAT, it's better to give it in Early/Mid August. You have ample time to prepare and giving it on time will help you focus more on the other parts of the application as well which are equally important.

Hi

I cleared the first round as well.

Class 10- 10 CGPA
Class 12- 97%+
College- Around 7-8 GPA

I am yet to give my GMAT and I do not want to give it online, since solving QA and IR on the whiteboard is very inconvenient.

All the best to everyone!

Hello everyone,
I am a YLP reapplicant this year. I had cleared my stage 1 last year but couldn't appear for my GMAT before the deadline.
I appeared for my GMAT in September and had posted a debrief on GMAT club. I can't attach the same here due to GMAT club's constraints on posting but you can check my post on my profile. If the debrief helps you in your prep, I'd be more than happy and would be willing to connect if any of you need any help with regards to your GMAT prep

Cheers

Hey,
Is ISB accepting the GMAT Online scores?
I have mailed them asking the same about a week ago but no body responded. Does anyone know any better way to contact them?
