I also interviewed recently. The most fascinating part of the interview was the conversational tone that it took. It never felt like a question and answer session. Since Cornell does blind interviews, the interviewer did not know much about my essays. I was able to use some examples that I wrote in my essays to back up my claims about teamwork etc.
Apart from the standard why MBA, why now, why Cornell questions, I was asked about how I see my curriculum progressing (courses, club activities etc). Another question that was posed as an ice-breaker was to describe how my career has progressed to date, both in terms of complexity of tasks that I perform and in terms of the responsibilities attributed to me.
