Hi Guys, does anyone know about verbal reasoning based DS questions? Is this new to the GMAT Focus Edition?

I found this question in the latest Official Guide 2024-25

Weird. I haven’t seen anything like this in any GMAT Prep. But if this is in the new OG, then it seems like questions like these can be expected frequently. Anyway, for this particular question and applying DS logic, I don’t think either of the statement can confirm the kind of behaviour "USUALLY" displayed by conflicting factions. Even if we combine them, one says that aggression is the way forward whereas the other says the peace and harmony is the way forward. So, combining also wouldn’t help to conclude USUAL behavior.

Hey guys. Can anyone help with this below CR question please?

Option A is most logical. C,D,E are out of consideration. With option B, if I can generalize and not involve any math, I can pretty easily conclude that the GDP is proportional to the shares, because it increases and decreases for both (ignoring quantification). Why is option B right? Is proportionality defined to be quantified?
