I have gmat 760 with 8 year of experience and my target college are Sda boccini and esade, how should i prepare my application, i am confused with how to write why esade and why sda boccini, both the curriculum are different and different advantages, could you please guide me through what they are looking for in why mba ? Question

Great question, you should start asking yourself why it is that you’ve chosen those schools. They are very different so have you chosen them because of the rankings, or is for their location and program. Start by thinking about what you want to do post MBA and where, then ask yourself which 3-5 programs would position you best to reach those goals, and through that process you will know exactly how to answer the "why this school question"

Think resources, curriculum, location, and culture, all within the lens of leveraging the school to reach a specific goal

Start by briefly discussing your background as it relates to consulting, then list a very specific role, location, and target companies. Afterwards have two separate paragraphs: the first discussing the curriculum and resources you will leverage at esade, and the second discussing your planned contributions to the Esade community.

Great question

There are a couple ways depending on the type of post MBA role your targeting. Think about what additional certifications or programs you can do before you apply, such as the CFA if you’re going for finance or tech bootcamps if you’re thinking of product management etc. You can also ensure you are exceptional in other aspects of your candidacy, for example being the top performer at your job, earning an accelerated promotion path, or starting a business. That being said, the most impactful thing would be to crush the GMAT

Also, do not forget to address your low GPA in the additional information section, don’t ignore it

Question by another member .............. If you’ve worked for smaller companies and early stage startups how can you give a more comprehensive picture of those companies on your resume and on the remainder of your application?

I have a quick question on the EA binding agreement..Is it possible to break the agreement if we do get financial aid from other schools and none from fuqua? Or is there any legal implications?

Easy, I remember having to overcome that in my application.
In your resume experience section, immediately next to or under the name of your company, write a brief description in italics such as "US based Investment Management Company with $20bn in assets under management", etc. Something brief and punchy that gives the adcom some context

Nope. No legal ramifications whatsoever, there is no risk from that standpoint. Just make sure you do it in a respectful manner over the phone.

Is there the occasional odd case, maybe, but neither I or anyone else I have dealt with has ever seen any ramifications. That being said, there are ethical implications since you promised to attend, however that’s a personal and non legal consideration
