Something interesting is that only 34% of the 2016 R1 people here have reported that they interviewed, compared to 77% of the R1 people from the 2015 thread. So either Kellogg did not interview as many applicants this year or the interviews just aren't being reported.

Seriously guys, people have discussed this at least 5 times before on this thread, just look through past discussions if you need more details. But to sum up: 1. Kellogg offers everyone the opportunity to interview ON-CAMPUS! If you choose to interview off-campus, you are able to request an interview (which you CANNOT do at most schools) and they'll try to meet your request (with NO GUARANTEES). 2. If they're not able to meet your request, they'll give you a waiver and evaluate your profile anyway. What this actually means is that beyond this point, they'll interview the candidates they choose to, via phone/Skype. 3. I've never seen a candidate be admitted without being interviewed. If someone knows anybody who did, please correct me. 4. They're not supposed to interview every applicant, that would not be logistically feasible, there are just too many candidates from all over the world. They try their best to interview as many candidates as possible, but by no means do they guarantee that everyone will be interviewed. Best of luck to all of us next week. Best, bizwiz

I was looking to meet current students through the student led ambassador events (Winter). However the events calendar on Kellogg website shows dates from 2010. Do any of you know if these events will be conducted and if so when? Thanks!

GC status for R1 shows only 38% applicants have yet reported invited to interview + interviewed. Far off from what I had expected. May be people are too busy to update their status.

I'm an R2 applicant and have a quick question about the "international experience" section. I have an extracurricular that involved both international and domestic work (planning and then hosting an international event) - do you think it matters whether I put it in extracurricular or international experience?

mgill - you can put it in both In the extracurricular section - focus more on what was the activity, what was your role, what did you do, etc. In the international exp section - focus more on the place you visited, time spent, managed international stakeholders etc. hope this helps. -R2K
