You don't have to check your email or the online application. They definitely call you first.

What about international applicants? Theres a 13 hour time difference. I dont suppose they'd call me at 3AM in the morning their time or mine? I suppose they'd send a congratulatory email instead?

Oh I most certainly wouldnt. But they are businessmen first. If I were in the AdCom, I would have rules about calling people at the right time. So its not I that is against 3AM calls, its probably them. I wonder...

Last year only US candidates received a call ... international candidates received admit emails in batches ... so prepare for frayed nerves if your name is in the last batch that goes out!
