Hi everyone,

I recommend you wait until you receive your summer homework from your Module 1 core professor to decide whether or not you want to make the financial investment in ASW. You can gauge off the assignments for Financial Accounting, Finance, Microeconomics and Analytical Tools (Statistics) if it would be worth your while.
ASW was critical for my success during the first mod as a career transitioner. It provided me with an academic head start and truly prepared me for the challenging first semester. You are required to take a quant heavy 22.5 credit hours (10.5 1st Mod / 12 2nd Mod) over this time period. Concurrently, you are attending company presentations, networking, participating career workshops, traveling to conferences and investing time in your internship search. ASW allowed me to focus more time on that latter.
Additionally, ASW offered me the opportunity to develop a rapport with my classmates before the MBA program. Approximately 20% attended ASW I and 66% attended ASW II. The friends I met during ASW are still my closest confidants today. There's precious little time during your core classes (1st two mods) to get out and about.
